Wonderful

Excellent hostel with sliding doors on the beds, great for privacy. Well located right near the waterfront. Helpful staff and a very nice restaurant underneath.

A couple of times the staff made mistakes giving me information. But they were honest mistakes and they were quick to rectify them. No big issues.

Wonderful

The hostel is amazing. With a nice balcony with swings, free breakfast in the morning (bread, coffee, bananas) and free water. They also have a bar/restaurant downstairs. The decorations are great, super clean and comfortable. The staff is also very nice and has a great communication.

Very Good

The location is great! Super close to all the main areas in El Nido! Lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping near by! The restaurant below the accommodations was also quite good with good food and drinks! They also host events in the evenings, although we didn’t do any they are offered. You also get free coffee, tea, water, and bread at their little cafe bar. Every bed also comes with a lock chest/locker in the bunk.

There was storage under the bunks that we used for our larger luggage, however they were super dirty/dusty. Our bags got quite dirty to the point where we used a wet towel to wipe them off. Mine also had some weird sticky liquid that also got on my bag. The outlets in the bunks were also a bit hit and miss. I had one that was completely unusable because anything I tried to plug in would just fall out but luckily the other one was manageable. But we did have a girl in our room ask about hers and the staff tried really hard to accommodate and fix the problem.

Beautiful place with beautiful staff and a very happy vibe!

I loved the hostel! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked there were not many people to one room and each bed had sliding doors for more privacy! The staff were exceptional. Always willing to help and available when needed. They really make you feel like friends and create a happy environment. The location was perfect and in walking distance to everything. Shops, restaurants, banks, bars, and the beach!

The pillow was very flat! But that is personal preference.

A warm welcome!

It’s exactly like the photos, the staff were absolutely amazing and I never wanted to leave. The food downstairs is really good too, and the whole vibe of the place is just very warm and welcoming. Short but sweet!

I guess the bed (mattress) could’ve been more comfortable

Great hostel option in the heart of the town

The hostel is really nice, good vibes, clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bar crawl on Fridays is a great opportunity to meet other travelers and to take a glimpse of the nightlife in the city. Don't miss it!

The stairs to the top bunk beds are very uncomfortable and borderline dangerous, the steps are too thin.

Superb

Really comfy beds and very private dorms. There is lovely chill area with swings overlooking the street outside and the beach. The food downstairs at the cafe was lovely and you get a discount off. Free water and coffee available!

Steep stairs up to the hostel. Only very minor but the sink in the bathroom is so oddly shape it makes it hard to brush your teeth.

the best place in el nido

the best place to stay! i stayed in a 6 mixed room for 4 nights as a solo female traveler. the room was private and quiet. very spacious and comfortable. I slept really well. plus the all atmosphere it’s wonderful!

A perfect spot to relax in El Nido

The hostel is perfectly located in the centre of El Nido town, only a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. The staff are really friendly and helpful in sorting out trips or scooter hire or whatever really. The hostel also offers free tea and coffee which is a nice touch, plus the balcony is a great place to relax and people watch. The rooms are also great, and very private with a wooden panel that can be pulled across the bunks. All in all, I couldn't rate Happiness Hostel any more, it's great!

I got only nice things to say about Happiness Hostel.

Very good to see the bed bunks have a sliding privacy door. Really appreciate the free coffee and fresh bananas every morning. The lounge area is very nice and relaxing with the sea/beach view. The staff are amazingly helpful and always available. The showers and toilets are always kept clean. I had very nice experience.

The sliding doors are nice for privacy but they hardly keep out the sounds, you pretty much hear everything.

Great stay

Location was amazing, 5 min walk from port and on the main street but that was never an issue with noise. Loved the swings at reception where you could see the street below. Easy to book tours from reception. Nice to have a block of toilet/showers to use instead of ensuite - warm showers! Curtains for the bed.

Wish the main reception area had a larger common area to hang in. Found it difficult to control the A/C, the remote wasn't in the room which meant I was sleeping in a jumper and was freezing!

I had a nice overall stay. the room of 2 beds only was very enjoyable and quiet.

Clean, well located.

I enjoyed every second of our stay - true happiness

We had a wonderful time in this lovely place. The whole vibe is incredible, combining good food, friendly people and music. I totally recommend to try the restaurant - everything there is delicious. Staff was really friendly, always there to help you, especially the manager - he'll do his best to satisfy your needs, recommending places to visit, parties, boat trips etc.

Superb

Nice hostel with privacy beds, close to the beach and to all shops and restaurants. My room had a sea view balcony, which i really enjoyed. The staff booked different tours and transport

The hostel has a no shoe policy, which means that you go to the common toilets with bare foot and then to bed, which i really do not like it.
